Eden Farms will be offering a Horse Camp for our kids with Down syndrome and their siblings the week of June 15th-19th (W-W-F only) from 9am-12pm. Campers must be at least 6 years old and weigh less than 190 lbs. You must have your doctor sign the required release forms for your child with Down syndrome (regarding Atlantoaxial Instability X-ray).

Campers will each receive a T-shirt. A PATH instructor will be a part of this camp to help implement therapeutic riding components.
Camp includes a daily riding lesson or trail ride, educational horse activities like grooming, saddling, horse safety, healthcare and feeding. Campers will also enjoy horsey arts and crafts, a Bible devotional, and a snack. Children are divided according to age and ability and will ride one of our lesson horses.
$50 per camper (normally $210). 18 spots available. Siblings will be allowed to register as well, please specify if they are sibling on the contract.
Volunteers needed- please specify when signing up if a parent or older sibling is willing to stay to help.
It has been suggested by the contact at Eden Farms to have the participants wear leggings for the riding lesson and to bring shorts to change into afterwards. Also Eden Farms will be going by CDC guidelines on COVID 19 for all camps, social distancing, washing of hands and each participant will be checked daily with a forehead thermometer before entering. If they have a temp 100.5 or above they will not be allowed in, so if anyone is sick please stay home.
