🐴 Saddle Up for Fun: Mane Event Meet-up at Eden Farms!

We warmly invite individuals in our Down Syndrome community to join us at Eden Farms for a wonderful, confidence-building day of horse riding and barn exploring!

This interactive two-hour experience is designed to be a safe, joyful, and memorable outing for the whole family.

✨ What’s in Store?

• 1 Hour of Horseback Riding: Riders will take turns learning how to confidently steer a horse through a fun obstacle course in the arena, fully supported by the fantastic Eden Farms staff.

• Hands-On Barn Tour: Get up close and personal with these gentle animals, meet the horses, and tour the beautiful facility.

• Picnic & Playtime: Light refreshments will be provided! Families are highly encouraged to pack a lunch, hang out, and picnic together on the playground while participants wait for their turn to ride.

  • Time: 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.

  • Registration Deadline: September 10

• Option 2: Saturday, October 17

  • Time: 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.

  • Registration Deadline: October 7

📝 Important Attendance Details

To ensure everyone stays safe and has a fantastic time, please review our eligibility guidelines before signing up:

• Age Limit: Open to participants ages 7 and older.

• Membership: Must be a currently registered member of the Down Syndrome Association of the Upstate.

• Safety Weight Limit: For the safety of both the riders and the horses, participants must weigh under 220 lbs.
